"We come up to Pine Top with relative frequency to the family cabin, and the food up here is pretty solid overall, but The Lodge is an unexpected hidden gem. We honestly didn't come in with high expectations for the food, but were completely blown away by the burgers. Every detail shows painstaking attention to detail in their craft. From the moment we stepped in, we knew we were in for a treat. The food here is far from your typical bar fare--it's exceptional. We started with the Raspberry Chipotle Chicken, and it was a flavor explosion. The combination of tangy raspberry and smoky chipotle created a perfect balance, resulting in a dish that was both sweet and spicy. The chicken was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. It was evident that they paid attention to every detail, and the result was simply delicious. Another standout dish we tried was the Blue Cheese Sliders. These sliders were anything but ordinary. The perfectly cooked beef patties were topped with generous amounts of tangy blue cheese and served on soft, toasted buns. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and we couldn't get enough. "I could say the normal things here about The Lodge, but what most people don't mention is that this family owned establishment has been their for the community for almost 10 years now, they throw a FREE thanksgiving meal every year for anyone that shows up. That have done fund raising for fallen officers. When the mountain is hit by fires and people evacuate, they stay behind at the bar and serve the fire fighters with food and drinks when they take their breaks. They have hosted wedding receptions, Birthdays, holidays, Super Bowl with the Death wing Challenge during halftime. They put on the biggest parties year round and the biggest on New Years Eve and Halloween weekend. Sir Earl Toon from Kool & the Gang who wrote Celebration, Ladies Night and Get Down On It, even came and performed for a surprise show. "SO GOOD, HAD TO POST THE REVIEW TWICE! By far the BEST burger I've had. Summer absolutely nailed it on the grill! And of course the garlic parm fries were phenomenal. Shout out to Eva (hope I spelt your name right!) for being the most attentive bartender even when she was the ONLY front of house staff member on shift. So glad I stopped in for lunch. I'll probably be back for dinner! If you're thinking about stopping by, DO IT! Especially when Summer and Eva are working. I'm beyond impressed."
